2 kg heroin seized and 3 people arrested from Manipur

A special task force of the West Bengal police arrested 3 people, including a couple, for peddling drugs from Manipur on Friday. They were intercepted at the National Highway-31D in Jalpaiguri and police recovered 2 kg of heroin from their car.

The three arrested have been identified as Hoineilhing Khongsai (35), Nuglminthang Khongsai (36) and Seigin Khongsai (42). All of them are from Kangpokpi, Manipur.

Along with the drugs, police also recovered Rs 60,000 in cash from the three arrested and seized their phones.
