4 Family Members Including 4-year-old Killed Due To Electrocution In Assam

At least four people, including three members of a family, died of electrocution at Bilaipur village in South Assam’s Hailakandi district on Monday.

According to police, the victims have been identified as Sufian Ahmad Sheikh (40), Husnara Begum Sheikh (30) and Zahid Hussain Sheikh (23) and a four-year-old child.

A senior police official on Monday said that the child first came in contact with a live wire which fell on the ground. The child’s parents with another member of the family rushed in to rescue the child but were also electrocuted while being in contact with the broken electric wire.
