Assam cop kills retired policeman in Dhemaji Assam

In a shocking incident, a retired police officer from Arunachal Pradesh was killed by a sub-inspector in Assam’s Dhemaji on Saturday.

According to reports, retired police officer Amulya Barua was shot dead by Alok Konwar, a sub-inspector at Dibrugarh Police Station, with his service pistol.

The police suspected that Barua was killed due to personal enmity. Panic gripped the area after the incident. After committing the crime Konwar surrendered before the police. A further investigation has been launched into the matter.
