Biker dies in collision with car on Lakhimpur bypass

A 36-year-old man died when the bike he was riding collided with a four-wheeler coming from the opposite direction on Wednesday. The incident took place at Rangajan Chariali on the Lakhimpur bypass.

Sources said the car unknowingly dragged the biker for roughly a mile, following which he died on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as Nur Islam, son of Ahmed Ali of Chaboti village in North Lakhimpur.
