Conrad K’ongkal Sangma: In touch with Himanta over boundary issue

Chief minister Conrad K’ongkal Sangma on Monday said he was in constant touch with his Assam counterpart, Himanta Biswa Sarma, through “hotline” over the inter-state boundary issue and that the duo was always ready to tackle any matter regarding law and order that could possibly crop up on the areas of differences.

“There is almost like a hotline between the honorable chief minister of Assam and myself, where immediately if anything happens, than through it the two of us are able to resolve any kind of small issues that are coming out,” he told the assembly on the 6th day of the ongoing budget session today.
