Criminal case against ABCI Infrastructures following stone quarry collapse in Mizoram

A criminal case has been filed against ABCI Infrastructure Private Limited at Hnahthial police station, following the death of 12 workers as a result of the collapse of a stone quarry run by the road construction company, as per the authorities.

According to Robert Hnamte, officer-in-charge of the Hnahthial police station, a suo moto criminal case has been lodged against ABCI, accusing the corporation of causing death by carelessness under section 304A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
