Eviction drive: KMSS raises red flag

NN Bureau, February 28: Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti, KMSS smells something fishy in the eviction drive conducted by district administration in South Salmara – Mankachar. By that eviction drive almost 100 bighas of land were cleared by the police. The purpose of eviction was to establish government offices but now there are the allegations from KMSS (Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti) that almost half of the land i.e. 50 bighas are going to be grabbed by private parties which are financially very sound but by some fraud land process these private parties are appearing as landless people.
