First corona patient of Meghalaya died

N N Bureau, April 15 : First corona patient of Meghalaya has died. He was a 69 years old doctor associated with a local hospital of Shillong. All his family members also are tested positive for Covid 19. Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma also has confirmed the death of the doctor. Meanwhile, two days curfew have been imposed in Shillong to trace the silent carriers of Covid 19.

I am deeply saddened to inform that the first #COVID19 positive patient in Meghalaya passed away this morning at 2:45 am. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace.
