Guwahati: Girl caught cheating in exam committed suicide

NN Bureau, 19th February: Being caught during an exam for cheating, Lipika Parbin was expelled from the examination centre. The next day at night the girl committed suicide.

According to reports, the girl used pesticides to kill herself. On Saturday she was admitted to hospital but on Tuesday the girl died during treatment. Girl’s father Mohammed Latif said that the action taken on her daughter by the centre administration was a kind of mental harassment for her and the reason behind her death.
