Guwahati Press Club General body Meeting

NN Bureau, 20th February: After a long gap today Guwahati Press Club organized a general body meeting. The meeting attended by about 200 journalists.

As per the decision of the meeting, within one month the date of election will be announced which has not been held for last 18 years. An ad hoc committee will look upon the daily affairs until the elections. Also the election will hold for ten various posts. Even two committees will be formed, one to hold the election and the other to check the past 18 years activities.
