In New Year ASTC Plans Launch Of CNG Buses In Guwahati

The Assam State Transport Corporation has finally announced the date for the launch of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) marking the long-awaited moment. The CNG buses will be launched on January 1st, 2023, according to ASTC’s Managing Director Rahul Ch Das. Around 30 CNG buses are anticipated to operate on various city routes, excluding the Zoo road, in Guwahati.

ASTC intends to deploy 100 buses on the highways of Guwahati this year. On the first day of the new year, over 30 buses would be introduced in Guwahati.
