Meghalaya police nabs 3 drug traffickers and seized heroin worth Rs 14 cr

During the examination of a bus on a motorway near Mandarin-Saiden village in Meghalaya’s Ri-Bhoi district on friday, heroin weighing 2 kg was discovered hidden in 158 soap boxes worth Rs 14 crore was seized from their hands.

Police apprehended the trio and their names are Rashijuddin, Saddam Hussain, and Iqbal Hussain, citizens of Manipur’s Bishnupur area.
