Modi Govt sanctions Rs. 14.2 Crore to promote Meghalaya Tourism

Meghalaya’s tourism sector is experiencing a massive transformation. The Government of India has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 14.2 crores to promote tourism in Meghalaya.

The project was launched under National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) to revamp Sobra as a preferred Ecotourism destination. It will also create job opportunities for the youth in the area.
