Okram Prashant Singha demands suspension of Chief Secretary of Assam

N.N. BUREAU, 3rd March 2020: Today Okram Prasanta Singha organized a Press Meet at Guwahati Press Club demanding suspension of Chief Secretary of Assam in connection with APSC scam. He alleged that CM Sarbananda Sonowal had directed to include the terms of reference of Subhas Das Inquiry Committee for the One Man Inquiry Commission headed by Justice (Retd.)Biplab Kumar Sharma under the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952 that has been omitted. He also said that Chief Secretary violated the Section 3 of the All India Service (Conduct) Rules, 1968, and also demanded to form a disciplinary authority under Section 7 of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969 to inquiry about the misconduct.
