Prabhat Sarma to be awarded Bhaben Baruah Award

Guwahati, 13 February: This year Bhaben Baruah – Mahananda Sarma Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to famous flutist, Prabhat Sarma. Today in a press conference at the Guwahati Press Club, the committee made this announcement.

The people of Nalbari district and Education-Society-Cultural Committee are merging together to present this award on 29th March 2020.

Singer, Musician, Lyrics and Music Director- Prabhat sarma from Barpeta will receive this award from Anima Choudhary who was presided in the year 2019.

The prize will include cash, shield, flute, sorai, Manpatra, Seleng Sador, and a plant.
