Swami Chittaranjan Debbarma nominated for ”Krishna Chandra Gandhi Award”

NN Bureau, 21st February: This year Swami Chittaranjan Debbarma of Tripura has been nominated for the Krishna Chandra Gandhi award for the year 2019. Swami Chittaranjan Debbarma, of Sri Si Santikali Ashram is a great religious person with social responsibilities. He was born on 22nd January 1962 in Barakathal, Sidhai Mohanpur.

The presentation of the award is to inspire the public, voluntary organizations etc. for the welfare of the society as well as the main motive of the organization is to spread knowledge of the tribal areas in terms of health, education and other facilities. It can be noted that” Krishna Chandra Gandhi Award” will be awarded to an eminent social worker of the North East. This award has been introduced by P.J.S.S and every year the organization distributes it to the nominees.
