Tourists from Assam allegedly looted in Nongstoin-Tura Highway, 3 held

Police on Monday arrested three persons for allegedly looting some tourists from Assam on the Nongstoin-Tura Highway.

West Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Herbert G Lyngdoh said information was received that some tourists from Assam, who had come to Nongstoin for sight-seeing on Sunday, were allegedly robbed by local youths somewhere along the Nongstoin-Tura Highway.
