Gaurav Gogoi Accuses BJP-RSS of Spreading Communal Tension Before Polls

Assam Congress chief Gaurav Gogoi alleged that elements in BJP, RSS, VHP, and Bajrang Dal create communal unrest before elections to divert attention from governance failures. He demanded a probe into those instigating cow part placements near religious sites. Gogoi accused CM Himanta Biswa Sarma of “Jinnah-style politics” and questioned promises on flood control and land use. He reaffirmed Congress’s stand against communal politics and in support of people’s issues.
