Tezpur University Women’s Studies Centre Hosts Freshers’ Programme

The Chandraprabha Saikiani Centre for Women Studies, Tezpur University, welcomed new students with a Freshers’ Programme. VC Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh stressed women’s studies’ role in equality and justice, while Dr. Madhurima Goswami highlighted Chandraprabha Saikiani’s legacy. The event featured cultural performances. On the same day, Prof. Singh also addressed the valedictory session of a workshop on Excel and SPSS, stressing the importance of data analysis in research.
