NEIF Organisers Clarify Zubeen Garg’s Singapore Visit

NEIF organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta clarified that Zubeen Garg visited Singapore to relax, not just for the festival. He said Zubeen wasn’t scheduled for a full performance and attended voluntarily. The festival was cancelled after Zubeen’s tragic death while swimming. Organisers denied pressuring him and stated they were unaware of his private yacht trip.
