Tiger Skin, Deer Hides Seized in Guwahati Raid

A joint operation by SSB, WCCB, Forest Department, and Police seized a full tiger skin and eight deer skins from Ananda Ram Deka’s residence in Bhetapara, Guwahati. Deka, a self-styled godman, was arrested and handed to the Forest Department. Officials noted the rarity of a complete tiger skin with head and claws intact. Investigation is ongoing, and he will be produced in court tomorrow.
