Tezpur University Students Accuse VC of Corruption, Demand Removal

Tezpur University students have accused Vice-Chancellor Shambhu Nath Singh of corruption, administrative misconduct, academic negligence, and threatening protesters. At a press meet, they demanded his suspension and a judicial inquiry. Allegations include financial irregularities, faculty removal, misuse of funds, and ignoring Zubeen Garg’s death. Students claim the VC has been absent for long periods and runs the university autocratically. The administration has not responded yet.
