Five Men Still Missing After Being Swept Away by Brahmaputra Currents

Five men remain missing after being swept away by strong Brahmaputra currents near Kharghuli during a river dip. A group of nine had entered the water, ignoring warnings about strong currents. Six were pulled away; one returned safely, while five—identified as Sagar Gautam, Upesh Kumar, Pratap, Abhijit, and Raunak—remain untraceable. NDRF and SDRF teams conducted daylong searches using boats and deep divers, but no signs have been found yet.
