Assam Police Bust Yaba Smuggling, 11,000 Tablets Seized

Assam Police, in a joint operation with the BSF, seized 11,000 Yaba tablets and arrested two suspected smugglers in South Salmara district on Monday. The recovery was made during a night operation based on specific intelligence inputs.

A motorcycle and two mobile phones allegedly used in the smuggling were also seized. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the police for the successful operation. Further investigation is underway to trace the source and network of the contraband.
