Man Held in Guwahati for Using Fake Vehicle Registration Number

Police on VIP Road in Guwahati arrested Pinku Mudoi for allegedly using a Kia vehicle with a forged registration number.

During verification, officials found the displayed number was fake and the vehicle carried a different original registration number. Police also revealed that the accused had earlier filed a theft complaint regarding the same vehicle at Basistha Police Station.

An investigation into the suspected fraud case is underway.
