Assam Governor Meets PM Modi, Highlights Youth Welfare Initiatives

NEW DELHI: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and extended his greetings on the occasion of Durga Puja. During the meeting, he also shared his experiences from his recent visit to Mongolia and briefed the Prime Minister on initiatives undertaken by Assam Lok Bhavan.

Acharya highlighted programmes such as Nashamukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat and Namo Matribhoomi Suraksha evam Swavalamban Sankalp Saptah, aimed at raising awareness about substance abuse, promoting patriotism and encouraging youth participation in nation-building. He also thanked the Prime Minister for his guidance and the opportunity to interact with him.
