Assam Releases Over ₹53 Crore Under Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu Schemes

Guwahati: The Assam government has released September instalments under the Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu schemes, benefiting nearly 4.92 lakh students. Education Minister Ranoj Pegu said ₹43.83 crore was disbursed to 3,99,911 girl students, while 92,069 male students received ₹9.31 crore.

The minister also confirmed that October instalments have already been released, while November payments are scheduled for November 10. Both schemes aim to support higher education and encourage students to continue their studies.
