GMC Fines Shops for Footpath Encroachment in Guwahati

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation fined shops in Adabari and Chabipul for encroaching on footpaths. Four shops were fined Rs 500 each in Adabari, while one establishment in Chabipul was fined Rs 2,000. GMC warned of stricter actions against repeat offenders to ensure pedestrian safety.
