Guwahati Municipal Corporation Cracks Down on Unhygienic Meat Sellers

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) is cracking down on meat sellers violating hygiene norms and operating without licenses. These actions aim to prevent health risks to citizens. From February to July 2024, GMC conducted seven operations, levying fines totaling Rs 2,17,600. Officials stated that these enforcement efforts will continue.
