Two Assam Police Personnel Killed in Karimganj Road Accident

Two Assam Police battalion personnel, Rahul Dev Burman and Budhan Barman, died in a road accident on Thursday near Patherkandi, Karimganj. Their motorcycle collided with an unlit, sand-laden truck parked on the Assam-Tripura National Highway. Both died on the spot and were declared dead at Patherkandi Hospital.

Locals have raised concerns about frequent accidents caused by poorly lit, improperly parked trucks in the area. Police have launched an investigation.
