108 Ambulance Staff Allege Harassment, Unpaid Dues Despite Government Assurances

The All Assam 108 Mrityunjoy Employees’ Association alleged continued harassment, unpaid salaries, and safety lapses even after suspending their agitation following state government assurances. The association claimed several employees were blocked from resuming duty, threatened with punitive transfers, and deployed in unsafe conditions. It also raised concerns over untrained staff operating ambulances and delays in clearing dues. The association urged authorities and the service provider to immediately resolve pending issues and ensure staff safety and proper emergency services.
