11 Fall Ill After Consuming Wild Mushrooms in Assam’s Sadiya

At least 11 people, including children, fell ill after consuming wild mushrooms in Sadiya area of Assam.

All affected individuals from Rukmini Deuri village, aged between 2 and 60 years, were admitted to Sadiya Civil Hospital after showing symptoms.

Doctors confirmed that all patients are currently stable and under observation, with no fatalities reported.

Health experts have warned against consuming wild mushrooms without proper identification, as they can be highly poisonous.
