12 AAMSU Members Held for Extortion from Cattle Trader in Lakhimpur

Twelve AAMSU members from Lakhimpur were arrested on Saturday for allegedly demanding ₹1 lakh from a cattle trader despite valid documents. They also reportedly assaulted the driver and took ₹15,000 in cash. The arrests followed a complaint by trader Rashidul Haque. AAMSU claims they were acting against illegal cattle transport and called the arrests politically motivated.
