25 Acres of Encroached Land Cleared in Assam’s Biswanath

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 25 acres of encroached land were cleared in Biswanath district during a recent eviction drive. He stated the action is part of the government’s ongoing campaign to remove illegal encroachments and reclaim state land.

Sarma also said the government has recovered nearly 50,000 acres of land from alleged infiltrators so far and pledged to continue the drive to protect public property.
