4 Killed, 10 Injured in Bus Accident in Assam’s Karbi Anglong

At least four people died and 10 others were injured after a bus lost control and crashed into a roadside tree in Lakkhijan area of Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Saturday morning.

The bus was travelling from Moirabari in Morigaon district to Dimapur in Nagaland when the accident occurred near a bend under Bokajan police station limits.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Barek, Khalil Rahman, Chabina Sultana, and Alal Uddin, including the driver.

According to police, the bus lost control while crossing a bend and hit a tree. The injured passengers, including a child, were taken to a hospital in Dimapur for treatment. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.
