5 arrested for firing incident at Assam-Arunachal border

Five persons were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the firing incident that took place in the disputed Panbari-Torajan area of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh border in which two persons were killed, police said.

Two persons from Assam, Boga Chutia and Monitu Gogoi, were killed, while two others, Pushpa Gogoi and Akoni Gohain, were injured when a group of 12-15 people arrived in a vehicle from the Arunachal side on Monday and opened fire on them.
