6th Edition of Jatinga Festival Kicks Off in Dima Hasao

The 6th edition of the Jatinga Festival began in Haflong, organized by the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council and Tourism Management Committee. The event was inaugurated by Debolal Gorlosa, Chief Executive Member, who emphasized the district’s potential as a tourist hub to combat unemployment. Chairman Mohet Hojai highlighted the festival’s role in promoting Dima Hasao’s natural beauty and unique migratory birds. The opening day featured performances by Bollywood singer Ritu Pathak, Neeraj Sridhar of Bombay Vikings, and DJ Kaushis, entertaining attendees with a cultural program.
