9-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling into JJM Water Tank in Lakhimpur

Lakhimpur, July 22: A nine-year-old boy, identified as Anshuman Saikia, died after allegedly falling into an under-construction Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) water tank at Madhavpur in Narayanpur, Lakhimpur.

The Class IV student had gone missing on Monday evening, and his body was later found inside the water tank following a search by family members and locals. Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident and whether negligence was involved.
