900 Kuki Militants Infiltrate Manipur from Myanmar, Security on High Alert

Manipur’s Security Advisor, Kuldiep Singh, confirmed the infiltration of 900 Kuki militants from Myanmar. In response to intelligence reports of a planned attack on September 28, a Strategic Operation Group meeting was held with top security agencies. Border districts like Pherzawl and Churachandpur are on high alert, with Assam Rifles and other forces monitoring areas with potential arms and explosives. Anti-drone systems and jammers have been deployed, and seven IEDs were recently recovered. The NIA is investigating drone bombing incidents.
