Mizoram to host International Tourism Mart from November 17 – 19 Nov 2022

Mizoram will host a four-day mega tourism event, the first of its kind in the state, from November 17 – 19 Nov 2022.

The programme would be jointly organised by the Union Ministry of Tourism and the Mizoram tourism department to highlight the potential of the northeast region to attract visitors, state minister Robert Romawia Royte told a press conference here on Tuesday.

Preparations were on in full swing for the event which would have business-to-business sessions, panel discussions, and presentations from the eight states of the region, Royte said.

The Centre has sanctioned Rs. 4.3 crore for the International Tourism Mart (ITM) and the state government has provided Rs. 2 crore for the purpose, the minister said.
