In honour of the consecration event of the Ram Temple, the Assam government has declared a half-holiday on January 22.

The Assam government announced on Thursday that the state would have a partial holiday on January 22, 2024, in connection with the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Due to this vacation, all state government offices and educational institutions in the state of Assam would be closed till 2:30 pm.
