Notorious Dacoit Shot Dead by Police While Attempting to Flee Custody in Hailakandi
A notorious dacoit, Afzal Hussain Barbhuiya alias Laal, was shot dead by police in Assam’s Hailakandi district on Monday while attempting to flee custody. The incident occurred on Kalibari Road, where police fired at Barbhuiya to prevent his escape. He was taken to SK Roy Civil Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
