Assam Businessman Shot Dead in Dimapur, Nagaland

Abdul Kayum Talukdar, a businessman from Badarpur in Assam’s Karimganj district, was allegedly shot dead by unidentified assailants in Dimapur, Nagaland, on Friday night. The incident occurred in the New Market area, where the miscreants shot Talukdar at point-blank range in the chest before fleeing the scene. Talukdar succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Local police recovered the body for post-mortem examination and have launched an investigation into the incident.
