Cyber Police Halt Rs 119,000 Fraudulent Transfers in Online Investment Scam

A team from the Cyber Police station of the City Police successfully stopped fraudulent money transfers amounting to Rs 119,000 following a report from a victim of an online scam posing as a high-return investment. The police managed to put Rs 99,991 on hold and credited Rs 50,000 back into the victim’s bank account.
