GMC’s Compost and RDF Plant Nears Completion

Guwahati Municipal Corporation’s (GMC) Compost-cum-Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Plant at Belortol, Boragaon, is nearing completion. The plant will convert mixed organic waste into compost and RDF, addressing the waste processing capacity shortfall. The project is on schedule and expected to be operational soon, marking a significant step toward sustainable waste management.
