Lakhimpur MLA’s Brother Kalyan Deka Allegedly Dies by Suicide

Kalyan Deka, brother of Lakhimpur MLA Manab Deka, allegedly died by suicide on Saturday night around 11:45 p.m. in the MLA’s residential office in Lakhimpur.

Sources revealed that Kalyan, who worked at the Assam Secretariat, had been struggling with prolonged depression. The incident has shocked the community, especially during the festive season. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
