Kiren Rijiju Meets Chinese Soldiers Near India-China Border During Diwali Visit
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju interacted with Chinese soldiers near the India-China border during a Diwali visit to an Indian Army post near Tawang. Rijiju, originally from Arunachal Pradesh, shared Diwali celebrations with Indian soldiers and asked the Chinese troops about their experience in high-altitude conditions. They responded that they were comfortable.
This meeting comes shortly after India and China agreed on patrolling arrangements along the Line of Actual Control, easing tensions following a military standoff in eastern Ladakh. Both sides also exchanged sweets along the border to mark Diwali.
