Goalpara Conducts Free Eye Camp for Drivers to Enhance Road Safety

The Goalpara district road safety committee, in collaboration with the transport and health departments, organized a free eye camp for drivers and handimen at Hasila bus station on Monday. The camp, supervised by Dr. Bhaskarjyoti Baishya and his team from Goalpara Civil Hospital, benefited 107 commercial vehicle staff. Free spectacles and necessary medicines were provided to the participants. The initiative was part of a resolution by the district road safety committee, with DC Khanindra Choudhury urging all departments to take measures to reduce road accidents and casualties.
