Mahakumbh 2025 Expected to Generate ₹2 Lakh Crore Revenue

The Mahakumbh 2025, attracting 450 million devotees over 45 days, is projected to generate ₹2 lakh crore in revenue, according to CAIT. Tourism, hospitality, food, and religious items are key contributors, with ₹40,000 crore expected from accommodations and ₹20,000 crore each from food and religious offerings. The Uttar Pradesh government spent ₹7,500 crore on preparations.
