Meghalaya CM Announces Nursing College in Jowai on Statehood Day

During Meghalaya’s 53rd Statehood Day celebrations in Jowai, Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma announced plans for a Government Nursing College in Jowai. He launched the revised Meghalaya State Anthem and presented Excellence Awards to state employees. Sangma highlighted government achievements, including the first State University, State Emblem, State Anthem, and 5-star hotels. He also laid the foundation for the new Meghalaya Secretariat, aimed at Shillong’s expansion. The CM honored contributions of past leaders and officials who shaped the state.
